about

[Main Summary]
On the fable night titled "When Hell Broke Loose", a stoner finds himself facing 3 of his greater demons looking to trade his dreams and wishes for pieces of his soul.

[Artist's Notes]
This project is was codenamed "The Kindergarden Plant". It's a metaphor I use to describe where the ideas for everything originated. I remember back in the Early-School Era of my life we were given the activity to grow a plant inside a cup to demonstrate biology, & science to young minds. The plant had to get water daily and placed in sunlight to grow, and that responsibility laid on each of us individually. After a few rocking first days, you become familiar with how to care for the plant from things the teacher told and demonstrated. I felt like this was the cup for my plant (my music) that I had been growing every since I first started pursuiting the idea of writing and performing music as a career. In short, it was me perfecting my craft. But please don't misunderstand me, I have so much more to learn, I'm just now in the more confident show some of the ideas I've had in my head about albums, songs, features, beats, music and the concept of it being an "art".
6.Six.VI. is titled after the idea of "The Devil's Number" or one of the signs of the Anti-Christ of Christian Lore. The Anti-Christ is said to be the one who brings the end of the world as he leads his Army of Hell's Warriors against the Gates of Heaven. But in order to have powerful warriors, he must use the souls of darker men and women given free will on Earth. The souls that fail to past the conquering of their 3 biggest inner demons are the ones ripe for the taken. Each failure tattoos a 6 on the person's soul, making them easier to be found and victimized by devils.
This was the general base for story I was writing for a Manga/Comic Book staring my team The Infamous 9IX. I always thought it could be a dope movie depending on how it's written. But I know nothing of near what I need to know to produce a movie that would do the concept justice. Luckly I do know how to make music, and most movies have a soundtrack. That's when I thought it would be cool to mix the idea of a movie played through the music.
The EP is designed to only fit 6 tracks to stick heavy to the devil's number concept. With only 3 demons needed to be showcased, it leaves 3 tracks to stretch around with if I'm looking to fill my demand of the EP's design. Oddly, I found a way to add 3 MORE tracks along with the other 3 tracks of stretch room, giving me a total of 9 songs on 6 tracks. Unique math, I admit, but it somehow works and complete's the EP in sound.
Each track is designed as a "Chapter", as to mimic a movie that was produced from a book that focused on the idea of the saga separation in it. After the "Opening Credits" of the 1st Chapter, the EP deals with demons of Anger & Self Destruction, A Gluttony on Drugs, and Uncontrolled Lust. The Following tracks are the end of the "movie" with the last track being that "extra bonus video clip at the end of the credits".
One of the questions I've gotten was "Did he sell his soul?" Well, the lyrics tell the story and the interludes are just the transition into new scenes.
